Sheila Keegan is an artist who specializes in children's book illustration and creating artwork for kids. Her hand-painted gouache illustrations are inspired by nature, childhood memories, and her Filipino American heritage.
Growing up in New Mexico and Florida, Sheila discovered her love for art at an early age. She earned a BFA in product design from the Columbus College of Art and Design, and then began her career as a freelance designer and fine artist. Her adventurous spirit has taken her around the globe, and she enjoys infusing her work with diverse influences. Now based in Cleveland, Ohio, she lives with her husband and two silly cats. In her free time, Sheila enjoys gardening, baking, and crafting.
